The happy problem

You want them there.
You just can't manage them.

Of course you want your dog at your wedding — they're family. But on the day, nobody can be tied up holding a lead, nipping home to let them out, or worrying whether they've been fed.

That's where we come in. We're Willow and Bertie's people — a proper dog household — and we look after everything, from pickup to home again, so your dog gets to be part of your day and you get to actually enjoy it.

Where dog chaperoning meets photography.

Every other chaperone just minds the dog. We're a photographer too — so your best mate doesn't just get looked after, they get properly photographed. That's a day out for your dog, and pictures of them being part of yours.

From pickup to home again

one less thing for you.

First

We collect them

From home or wherever they're staying. No friend roped into dog-taxi duty on the morning.

Then

We chaperone

There for the ceremony, confetti and photos. Fed, watered, walked and kept calm and happy throughout.

Plus

They get their photos

10 professional, hand-edited photos of you with your dog — relaxed and natural, no posing.

Finally

We take them home

Returned safely and settled once they've done their bit — no late nights at a loud party.

Two simple packages

Pick what suits your day.

Both include 10 professional photos of you and your dog — the bit no other chaperone offers.

Meet the team.

We're not a faceless service. We've got two dogs of our own — so yours is in genuinely experienced, dog-loving hands all day. Fully insured, with safe and secure transport throughout.

Willow
Willow

One half of the team — and a big part of why we know exactly how to keep a dog calm, happy and looked after on a busy wedding day.

Bertie
Bertie

The other half. Between the two of them, there's no wedding-day wrangling, weather or wobble we haven't already handled at home.

Aaron and Ali — Willow & Bertie wedding dog chaperone
The people behind the paws

Hello — we're Aaron & Ali.

We're the couple behind Willow and Bertie, and between us we've spent years living with, loving and looking after dogs. We know how much your dog means to you, because ours mean exactly that to us.

Ali handles the calm, the care and the cuddles — making sure your dog is happy, settled and never overwhelmed. Aaron's the photographer, so while your dog's having the time of their life, he's quietly catching the moments you'll want to keep.

Together, that means your best mate gets a proper day out and you get photos of them being part of it — all handled by two people who genuinely, slightly ridiculously, love dogs.

Based locally

We're based in Denton, Norfolk.

Right on the Norfolk & Suffolk border (IP20), so we're well placed for weddings across both counties.

Also need a wedding photographer?

Willow & Bertie is run by Aaron of Magpie Magpie Photography — so if you're after a documentary-style wedding photographer for the whole day, not just the dog bit, it's worth a look.

Questions, answered.

Not at all. The chaperone service works completely on its own — even if you've already got a photographer booked. Your dog still gets their 10 photos either way.

That's exactly what we're here for. Your dog is kept calm, walked, and given quiet breaks away from the noise. If they're only happy for the ceremony and confetti, that's fine — they do their bit and head home early.

Norfolk and Suffolk, based on the border. For collection further afield, just ask — we'll always tell you exactly what any extra travel involves up front.

Lots of Norfolk and Suffolk venues are dog-friendly, at least for the ceremony and outdoor photos. We can help you check, and plan the day around what your venue allows.

Just get in touch with your date, venue and a bit about your dog. We'll sort the details and make sure they're a happy, well-looked-after part of your day.
